Dan River Books is a seasonal open shop in Meadows of Dan, Virginia and a year-round on-line business.  Our shop’s home is a quirky 1930's bungalow. We stock both new and used books.  Our new books are high-quality non-fiction publisher’s overstocks, deeply discounted.  Our used books are both fiction and non-fiction in a wide range of subjects.

You can find us 2 miles south of Mabry Mill near Milepost 178 of the Blue Ridge Parkway, just off US Route 58 in beautiful Meadows of Dan, Virginia. We are open April through December, Thursday through Sunday, 10-6.
